Gorynych has kindled its flame at 22A Shota Rustaveli Street — giving Tashkent its own source of Moscow fire. Born in the Russian capital, the project has long since spread its wings to cities from Sochi to Novosibirsk, and Uzbekistan became the stage for its international debut. The Tashkent branch is powered by a strong triumvirate: White Rabbit Family, Family Garden and AB Group (the latter two are longtime partners of Novikov Group). There is just one brand chef behind Gorynych — the ever-present Vladimir Mukhin, who has composed a Moscow-style comfort menu you can navigate every day and still find something beautiful for a special occasion.
Wherever Gorynych appears in the world, the concept laid down by Boris Zarkov is built around open fire. A Josper grill and a smoker handle everything that carries a smoky aroma: steaks, briskets, ribs, and seafood. The oven is the other heart the place. It turns out sourdough loaves in several styles: white wheat, Borodinsky rye, and a version with dried fruits. The bread is best enjoyed on the spot, with whipped butter or as part of signature sandwiches — with eggplant and stracciatella, or with crab, avocado and chili. Nearby, Neapolitan pizza bakes to perfect leopard-spot char in the same oven. Standout toppings include burrata with pastrami, gorgonzola, pear, and shrimp.
Also worth your attention are the dishes marked as signature: sushi with marbled beef and foie gras, tartare with red caviar, borscht with beef pastrami, and crab with baked eggplant, yogurt, and black pepper sauce. The average check for three dishes at Gorynych comes to about UZS 700,000.
The bar here is a whole other element. Cocktails range from light «placebo» zero-proof options to strong mixes. Aperitifs play on freshness and rounded flavors, like «Lepota» with prosecco, pear, and walnut. The sours lean into a tart-bitter profile with cool notes, like «Charovnitsa» with gin, berries, and citrus. The «strongs» are mellow and deep, like «Marevo» with vodka, pear, and vanilla.
