Step 1: AI
Artificial
intelligence analyzed more than 3000 restaurants in Tashkent and rated them by
the number of orders and visits, reviews in the Yandex Maps app, and more than
100 other criteria. This is how the neural network compiled a long list of 140
establishments fit
to be included in Ultima Guide. The
restaurants in the guide are shown in alphabetical order.
The
list includes famous restaurants as well as small cafes. New establishments
(those opened less than three months ago), bars, coffee shops, food malls, and
restaurant chains (with more than three restaurants) were excluded, as other
criteria should be used to evaluate them. A restaurant doesn’t have to be a
Yandex Go partner to be included in the guide.
Step 2: Vote
The
next stage of the selection to Ultima Guide was the vote. 4500+ Yandex Go users
and 39 independent experts (restaurateurs, chefs, and food critics, as well as
business and media representatives) participated in the vote. The users who
took part in anonymous voting were those who had been interacting with
establishments through Yandex services during the year. To protect the vote
from fraud, each voter received an individual link.
Final
Ultima
Guide will include top 20 projects rated the highest by users and experts. The voting results will be counted by an
evaluation model specially developed by Yandex. Results will be checked by the
Yakov and Partners international consulting company.
Ekaterina
Pugacheva, the jury chair of The World’s 50 Best
Restaurants rating for Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central
Asia helped to develop the guide methodology.
We’re
planning to update Ultima Guide every year.
