Breakfast from 8am to 10pm
With its generous European breakfasts, fresh pastries and coffee, French bakery Bon! is an easy addition to the day’s plans. Start with a Continental (UZS 98,000) or Parisian breakfast (UZS 90,000), or choose scrambled eggs and salmon tucked into a croissant (UZS 96,000). There are omelettes (from UZS 46,000), sandwiches (from UZS 61,000), French galettes with a choice of fillings (from UZS 60,000), and crêpes (from UZS 48,000). As for something sweet, the display counter makes a compelling case for lingering over croissants and pastries.
Breakfast from 7am to 11am
At Bon Bon, breakfast accommodates both those who favour a substantial start and those for whom coffee and a dopamine-inducing pastry are quite enough to greet the day. The morning menu includes a turkey croissant (UZS 44,900), menemen (UZS 39,900), blini with tvorog (UZS 34,900) and more.
Breakfast from 8am to noon
Set among Bukhara’s historic streets, Ayvan occupies a restored merchant’s mansion dating from the late 19th century, part of the Lyabi House hotel. Carved wooden details and painted ceilings recall the building’s past, while the name refers to traditional ayvans — open terraces that offer a welcome escape from the heat. The breakfast menu brings European flavours together with local touches. There is a prawn omelette (UZS 120,000) and syrniki with cherry sauce (UZS 65,000), or, for a different start to the day, the seasonal Bukhara Emir’s Breakfast (UZS 125,000), served with kaymak, berries, halva and navat.
Breakfast from 10am
Breakfast starts a little later at Le Bonnet Terrace than at the other places in our guide, but the menu offers plenty of picture-worthy options. The Continental set comes in at UZS 90,000, while Eggs Benedict with avocado and salmon is UZS 65,000 and menemen with cream cheese UZS 50,000. For a sweeter start, there are syrniki with coconut sauce (UZS 40,000).

Mornings start early at Eski Şehir Coffee House, where coffeehouse classics meet Turkish influences. The breakfast set brings eggs, vegetables and sausages to the table (UZS 210,000); a classic pide (UZS 60,000) makes a simpler alternative. A Belgian waffle with fruit (UZS 65,000), pastries and Eastern sweets round out the menu.
